Pollinator Demonstration Garden
The 2020 Master Gardeners are planning to develop a Pollinator Demonstration Garden next to the Archuleta County Extension Office. Above is a diagram of the proposed garden and a list of proposed plants.
How can you help?
- Donate a division from one of your garden pollinator plants.
- Sponsor the purchase of one of our proposed plants.
- Trees: Early Blooming:
- Flowering Crab Apple Tree
- Other options: apples, cherries, peaches and plums
- Trees: Mid-Season Blooming:
- Flowering trees: i.e., willows, black locust, linden and honey locust
- Bushes:
- i.e., Rocky Mountain Service Berry, Chamisa (Rabbit Brush) (multiple), Cinquefoil, Spirea, Butterfly Bush
- Trees: Early Blooming:
